How the Chamber supports local business

Skamania County Chamber of Commerce is a champion for business. We support regional prosperity through business promotion, advocacy, collaboration and community connections.

Business Promotion – Newsletter, website, social media, co-op advertising opportunities, display materials in the Chamber office and word of mouth referrals are some of the many ways that the Chamber promotes its members.

Advocacy – Did you know that your local Chamber, along with many Chambers across the state, actively advocated for more funding in the Washington State Commerce grant to assist businesses during COVID? And it worked! The budget was increased from $5million to $10 million.

Collaboration – Working together makes us stronger! The Chamber collaborates with many organizations including Skamania EDC, Stevenson Downtown Association, Wind River Business Association, Gorge area Chambers, as well as regional and state-wide tourism agencies to stretch our
resources further and accomplish more!

Community Connections – The Chamber connects members businesses to those in need of their goods and services. We also host networking events to give business owners/operators an opportunity to connect with each other.
