Guests are invited to enjoy the awe-inspiring vistas of the Estate vineyard and the Columbia River from the intimate tasting room atop Underwood Mountain. The winery is welcoming to families and pets, making it an inclusive destination. With a focus on vintage and terroir, AniChe Cellars is dedicated to exploring uniqueness in every bottle. The wines are vineyard-driven, produced in small batches with minimal manipulation, resulting in European-style red blends, bright Estate single varietals, and dry sparkling wines. The winery specializes in free-run wines with very low oak profiles and regularly experiments with clay vessels, concrete, and alternative fermentation methods.

AniChe Cellars upholds high sustainability standards across all aspects of production, ensuring fair and equitable treatment for everyone in the wine industry. The winery is committed to reaching diverse audiences beyond traditional demographics and aims to lead the way in making wine accessible to all. By challenging industry norms and celebrating diversity as a core value, AniChe Cellars supports social justice movements that empower the community. They contribute to these causes through regular donations of wine bottles and tasting room sales. #5 | Klickitat Canyon Winery Tasting Room:  They are a small, family run, organic winery making natural wines, unfiltered and pure in the old world traditions.  By this, they mean nothing is added to their wines and they are manually stomped, then allowed to ferment in oak barrels, all the way to dryness.  Their fermentation differs from most other wine making processes in that they do not use any sulfites, clarifying agents, filters or even added yeasts.  They have been making organic wines in the Northwest and the Columbia River Gorge since 1993.  Please come in for a flight, glass or bottle.  The tasting room is located at 6 Lyle Snowden Rd, Lyle, WA 98635   541-400-8147

Just east of Maryhill Winery is the Biggs Junction Bridge taking you into Oregon for your return trip via I-84. There is quite a choice of wineries on the south side of the Columbia River so use that Columbia Gorge Wine Map to make your selection. For more details, visit GorgeWine.com.
